Experience: TJ and his father Ted built Elvira up from a good autocross car to a solid hillclimb car. TJ started autocrossing at 15 and won the 2007 SC Region CSP Championship in Solo II. He now runs the distinctively "FANGED" Miata in time trial events - track and hillclimb. TJ presently holds the hillclimb course records at Eagle's Nest and Crow Mountain in a very competitive CSP class. One of TJ's favorite moments hillclimbing was last year at Crow Mountain in 2008 when he narrowly escaped "TJ's Rock Monster" on one run and then set a new CSP record by over 2 seconds on his next run. He is planningto graduate from Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
