This car holds the record from the last Chimney Rock Hillclimb 1995. Bandit is powered by a13B Bridgeported Mazda Rotary.

Awards: 2008 SCCA - SEDIV Specials Champion

Experience: Ted has autocrossed, road raced, run dirt track and asphalt cars in the south for over thirty years but found his home in hillclimbing 5 years ago. While he is still learning the Bandit's wings, he finished 2nd overall twice in hillclimbs last year. He shares the hobby with his son TJ who drives Elvira, a CSP Miata. TJ and Ted are working together and exploring aerodynamics improvements through CAD based CFD "wind tunnel simulations" to get more down force in the future. He is also writing a book on the History of Southern Hillclimbing.
